BOAT ALARM SYSTEM
An unexpected door opening, movement inside the boat or physical tampering with the Gateway may signal an unauthorised entry. Vanemar alerts you when it detects these events, helping you respond quickly.
Entry and motion sensors work together to monitor access points and interior spaces.
Vanemar Entry Sensor detects the opening of access points such as doors, portholes and hatches, while the Motion Sensor detects movement in interior spaces such as cabins. When the system is armed, detected activity is sent to the Gateway and appears as an alert in the Vanemar app.

How Vanemar Escalates an Alert
If a critical alert goes unseen, it escalates to an automatic phone call after 60 seconds.
Automatic Phone Call
When high water, smoke or unauthorised entry is detected, an app alert arrives first. If it is not viewed within 60 seconds, Vanemar servers call you. This is not another notification but a real, persistent phone call, designed to make an event needing urgent attention difficult to miss.
The automatic call is designed to get your attention; it does not dispatch emergency services, marina staff or a response team.
Connectivity and System Infrastructure
Batteries, bilges and shore power often come to mind only when something goes wrong. Vanemar sensors bring essential boat data into view so you can recognise what needs attention and respond in time.
Alongside its cellular data connection, Vanemar can stay online through a Wi-Fi network with internet access.
If your boat has satellite internet such as Starlink, Vanemar can connect through its Wi-Fi network. This allows the system to remain online offshore where cellular coverage is unavailable.

Temperature and relative humidity inside enclosed spaces aboard are constantly changing. Vanemar Temperature and Humidity Sensor measures both and alerts you when they move outside the limits you set.
Condensation can form when humid air meets a colder surface. One reading offers a snapshot; historical trends help you spot prolonged high humidity or notable temperature changes.
Temperature differences and high humidity can create the conditions for condensation on cold surfaces. Seeing those changes remotely helps you decide sooner whether ventilation or an onboard inspection is needed.
In cabins that stay damp for long periods, upholstery, lockers and fabrics may need closer attention for mould and persistent odours. Historical trends help you see whether the same conditions keep returning.
