Night vision and a wide 120° field of view make it a practical boat night vision camera for changing light conditions. With wireless connectivity, a 5,200 mAh rechargeable battery and an IP65-rated enclosure, this security camera for boat monitoring can be placed where it is most useful aboard. VISUAL CHECK-IN FROM SHORE
See the moment that needs your attention.
The camera connects three parts of a remote check: the view you open, the movement event that reaches you and the history you can review later.
01A VIEW READY WHEN YOU NEED IT
Open the camera before a question becomes a concern.
A change in weather, a planned marina visit or a simple doubt does not have to wait until you return. Open the camera in the Vanemar app and check the area you chose to keep in view.
The camera becomes most useful when its position answers a specific question about your boat, rather than trying to watch every space at once.
02MOVEMENT BECOMES A MOMENT TO CHECK
Let the camera watch for an event, not record every quiet hour.
While you are away, the camera’s built-in motion detection watches the selected area. When movement is detected, the camera creates an event, records the related image and sends a notification to your phone.
This gives an unexpected moment a time, a place and an image you can use when deciding whether someone needs to check the boat.
03THE EVENT REMAINS AVAILABLE
Return to the time and image together.
You may not be able to open every notification the moment it arrives. Camera history keeps the recorded event available so you can return to it when you have time to assess the situation.
Review the date, time and related image together, then compare what you see with expected visits or activity around the boat.
SETUP AND EVERYDAY READINESS
Three checks before you rely on the camera away from the boat.
Choose the view, confirm the connection, and configure alerts and authorised-user access before making the camera part of your routine.
1. Choose a useful position.
Start with the area you would most want to understand while away. Keep the view stable, unobstructed and respectful of privacy.
2. Confirm that it is ready.
Pair the camera with your Gateway, check its connection and charge, and confirm that the chosen view is clear before fixing it in place.
3. Configure alerts and access.
Enable the required app and phone permissions, configure the alerts you want to receive, and verify that authorised users have the appropriate camera access before relying on remote monitoring.

BEFORE YOU CHOOSE A POSITION
Plan the view. Plan what happens next.
01
Do I need a Vanemar Gateway?
Yes. Vanemar Camera works as part of a Vanemar system and requires a Gateway. If your boat already has one, add the camera to that existing setup.
02
What should I decide before mounting the camera?
First decide what question the view should answer, then test the position before fixing it permanently. Check the framing, connection and access in the app, and avoid positions that create unnecessary privacy concerns.
03
Does the camera replace entry or motion sensors?
No. Each device adds a different kind of information. Entry and Motion Sensors report specific activity to the security system; the camera adds visual context to the area you choose to view.
04
What if I cannot get to the boat myself?
Prepare a trusted contact before you need one, such as marina staff, a skipper or another authorised person. A defined contact and a clearly named camera location make it easier to request a focused check.
05
What should I check before leaving the boat?
Confirm that the camera is charged, connected and still aimed at the intended area. Check that the Gateway is online, Vanemar Connect is active and the necessary app permissions are enabled on your phone.
06
What should I consider about privacy?
Position the camera only where you have a legitimate reason to monitor and avoid capturing private or public areas unnecessarily. Follow marina rules, inform authorised users where appropriate and comply with local privacy laws.
