Product Description
Get an instant warning of high water in your bilge with the Vanemar Bilge High Water Alarm. Easy-to-install, the wireless Bilge Alarm Sensor keeps your boat safe even in the harshest marine environments.
Rising water should not wait until your next visit.
Rainwater, a leak or a drainage problem can raise the water in your bilge while the boat is unattended. A warning gives you a reason to check sooner.
A warning at the level you choose.
Position the sensor at the height where rising water needs your attention. When water reaches both contacts, it triggers the alarm.
Find out wherever your day takes you.
An alert in the Vanemar app brings the event to you, so you can arrange a check even when you cannot get to the boat yourself.
Hear it when you are aboard.
The sensor also sounds a local alarm. A problem below the floor can draw your attention without waiting for you to open the app.
FROM BELOW DECK TO YOUR PHONE
A small sensor can change when you find out.
You may not see what is happening in the bilge from the cockpit, let alone from home. Vanemar brings a high-water event into view.
01WHEN THE BOAT IS UNATTENDED
A reason to call the marina today.
Instead of discovering high water when you next lift the floorboards, receive an alert when it reaches the sensor. You can contact the marina or someone you trust to inspect the boat and decide what needs to happen next.
02SMALL, WIRELESS AND BATTERY POWERED
Built for the damp space it watches.
An IP67-rated housing protects the sensor in damp bilge conditions. Its own battery and wireless connection mean no new sensor cable run through the boat. Low-battery alerts help you know when it needs attention.
A CLOSER LOOK
Simple to add. Ready for your boat’s layout.
Choose the warning point for each bilge, then check the connection before leaving the boat. The details below help you plan the right setup.
Choose your warning point
Mount the contacts at the height where you want rising water to trigger an alarm, following the installation guide.
Cover separate compartments
Use one sensor for each separate bilge you want to monitor. Give each a location name in the app.
Keep everyday care simple
Battery life is up to two years, depending on use and conditions. Check low-battery alerts and test as directed in the manual.

BEFORE YOU CHOOSE
Your bilge, your questions.
01
Does it switch my bilge pump on?
No. The sensor warns you when water reaches its contacts. It does not control the pump or directly detect a pump fault. Keep your existing pump controls and regular maintenance in place.
02
Will I see the exact water level in the app?
It reports water reaching the point where you place the sensor, rather than measuring a changing depth. Choose the mounting height to match the level you want to know about.
03
What do I need for alerts away from the boat?
Pair the sensor with a Vanemar Gateway and activate Vanemar Connect. Keep the Gateway online and enable notifications on your phone. If you already have a Gateway, add the sensor to that system.
04
Can I monitor more than one bilge?
Yes. Add a sensor in each separate compartment you want to monitor and name them by location, such as “Forward bilge” and “Aft bilge”. Check the wireless connection in each position.
05
What happens if the boat loses its internet connection?
The sensor has its own local alarm, but immediate alerts on your phone need the Gateway to be online. Check connectivity before relying on remote monitoring.
