Connect your boat's NMEA 2000 network to the Vanemar NMEA 2000 boat adapter for real-time monitoring of engines, tanks and batteries. Keep your boat's basic needs under control and plan your trips efficiently with boat alarm security systems.
Your helm is on board. Your boat’s data can come with you.
Make everyday decisions with information your boat already collects. The adapter brings supported readings from your NMEA 2000 equipment into the same app you use to monitor your boat.
Plan the next trip before you arrive.
See available fuel, fresh-water and waste-tank levels, so you can plan a fuel stop, a refill or a pump-out around your day.
Give your engine readings a purpose.
Use reported running hours when planning service and review available fuel-use data to better understand your time under way.
Put compatible controls in your pocket.
With supported digital switching aboard, check circuit states and operate connected equipment from the Vanemar app.
FROM READINGS TO EVERYDAY DECISIONS
Less guesswork before your next day on the water.
Use the equipment already connected to your boat’s network to build a fuller picture of what needs attention.
01PLAN AHEAD WITH TANK LEVELS
Know what needs filling. And what needs emptying.
Check the reported levels before heading to the marina. A fuel top-up, fresh-water refill or waste-tank pump-out can become part of your plan instead of an unwelcome interruption.
Set a low or high warning level for each supported tank. Choose limits that suit your crew and trip, and let an app notification bring a crossing to your attention.
02MAKE ENGINE DATA USEFUL
Keep the next service on your radar.
Engine hours give you a practical starting point for maintenance planning. Check the reported total against your engine manufacturer’s service schedule before booking the next visit.
Available RPM, temperature and fuel-use readings add context to how the engine is running. Review recorded history to understand changes across your trips, using the measurements your connected equipment supplies.
03COMPATIBLE DIGITAL SWITCHING
Left the cabin lights on? Check from your phone.
If your boat has compatible digital switching, Vanemar lets you view supported circuit states and switch them on or off remotely. Label each control clearly so the app reflects your own boat.
The available controls depend on the switching equipment installed aboard. Confirm the circuit and its status before and after an action; optional biometric authentication adds an extra check when opening the switch dashboard.
HOW IT FITS YOUR BOAT
One link to the network you already have.
The adapter connects to your NMEA 2000 backbone and passes supported data to the Vanemar Gateway over Wi-Fi. The Gateway makes it available in your Vanemar app.
Build on your existing instruments
Compatible sources can add engine, tank, battery, wind and depth readings. The adapter brings their data into Vanemar; it does not measure those values itself.
A wireless link to the Gateway
Connect the supplied drop cable and T-connector to the backbone. The adapter draws power from that network and communicates with the Gateway over Wi-Fi.
Check changes over time
Review the history of supported readings recorded by your setup. What you can look back at depends on the data your equipment supplied.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT FOR YOUR BOAT
What will it bring to your boat?
01
How do I know if my boat has NMEA 2000?
Check your equipment manuals or boat’s wiring diagram for an NMEA 2000 network. It commonly uses a backbone with T-connectors linking onboard equipment. Send Support your equipment models and photos of the connections if you would like help checking compatibility.
02
Will every reading shown here appear on my boat?
Your boat needs compatible equipment supplying each measurement over NMEA 2000. For example, tank levels require a compatible tank-level source. The adapter does not add missing sensors or convert every instrument automatically. Ask us to check any must-have measurements before ordering.
03
Will readings keep updating when I switch the boat off?
Fresh readings need power to the NMEA 2000 network, the adapter and the equipment providing them. If those sources are switched off, their measurements stop updating. For monitoring while you are away, plan the power arrangement with your installer and keep the Gateway online.
04
Can I choose when to receive tank warnings?
Yes. Set individual low or high limits for supported tanks in the app. You might choose a low-level warning for fuel or fresh water, and a high-level warning for a waste tank. Remote warnings need the relevant data source online and notifications enabled.
05
Does the adapter let me control any electrical device?
Remote switching requires a compatible digital switch panel connected to your NMEA 2000 network. The adapter provides access to supported circuits through Vanemar; it does not turn an ordinary manual switch into a remote control. Check the intended circuits with your installer.
06
What else do I need to use it remotely?
You need a Vanemar Gateway, active Vanemar Connect and a compatible NMEA 2000 network with the data sources you want to monitor. The adapter connects to the backbone using its drop cable and T-connector, then pairs with the Gateway. Keep the system powered and connected for remote access.
