Protect your boat against theft and intrusion with the Vanemar boat motion sensor alarm. This marine motion sensor works as a boat alarm motion detector, sending timely notifications when movement is detected while the system is armed. The easy-to-install boat motion alarm adds another layer of awareness when you are away.
You’ve left the boat. Stay connected to what moves inside.
A quiet cabin should stay that way when no one is expected aboard. Vanemar brings detected movement to your attention, so you can follow up from wherever your day takes you.
An alert worth checking.
When your boat is armed, movement in the monitored area can trigger an app alert. Check whether a visit was expected or ask someone nearby to look in.
Security beyond the doorway.
Watch for movement within a cabin or saloon. Pair it with an Entry Sensor to monitor both a door opening and activity inside.
A small addition to your interior.
A compact, battery-powered sensor connects wirelessly to the Gateway. Add motion monitoring without routing a power cable through the cabin.
BUILT AROUND LIFE ABOARD
Ready when you leave. Relaxed when you return.
From a few hours ashore to the days between trips, make motion monitoring part of the way you leave your boat.
01AWAY FOR THE AFTERNOON. OR UNTIL NEXT WEEK.
Step ashore with the cabin covered.
Close up, switch to Protection mode and let Vanemar monitor for movement in the sensor’s coverage area. If an alarm is raised, you have a reason to check with your crew or marina instead of discovering something on your next visit.
Back aboard? Switch to Onboard mode and move around normally without motion intrusion alarms interrupting your time on the boat.
02DISCREET HARDWARE. USEFUL COVERAGE.
Fits into your cabin. Fits around your plans.
Aim the sensor across an indoor route someone would take through the cabin or saloon. Its compact design makes it easy to include in your interior, while the wireless connection keeps installation simple.
Start with the area that matters most to you. For separate cabins or a larger layout, add sensors where one unit cannot provide a clear view.
THE DETAILS BEHIND THE DETECTION
Purpose-built to notice movement.
PIR sensing detects motion within its field of view. Good positioning helps the sensor cover the routes you want to monitor inside your boat.
Coverage you can plan around
A 90° detection angle and reach of up to 12 metres at 25°C. Actual coverage depends on temperature, placement and obstructions.
Tamper awareness
The sensor supports tamper warnings, helping bring interference with the device to your attention.
A heads-up before a battery change
Low-battery warnings help you plan maintenance. Follow the sensor guide when replacing the battery and checking operation.

MAKE IT PART OF YOUR BOAT
A few things to know before you leave.
01
Will it trigger alarms while we are aboard?
Use Onboard mode for normal life aboard; it disarms motion and entry intrusion monitoring. Switch to Protection mode when you leave. Your configured countdown gives time to exit and can provide a grace period before an intrusion alarm.
02
Why add a Motion Sensor if I already have an Entry Sensor?
They monitor different events. An Entry Sensor reports a specific opening; a Motion Sensor detects activity within its coverage area. Together, they let you monitor both access and movement inside.
03
Can one sensor cover every cabin?
Coverage depends on the layout and the sensor’s clear field of view. Closed doors, partitions and furniture can block it. Separate cabins or larger interiors may need additional sensors; test each monitored area after installation.
04
What if I leave a pet aboard?
Animals can trigger motion detection. Plan your sensor positions and security settings around where pets move, and test your setup. This sensor should not be treated as pet-immune.
05
Can I use it on an open deck?
This model is designed for indoor use. Choose an enclosed cabin or saloon and follow the placement guide. Avoid positions facing windows, fans or sources of rapid temperature change.
06
What do I need to receive alerts away from the boat?
You need a paired Vanemar Gateway that is powered and online, active Vanemar Connect and enabled app notifications. Arm Protection mode for motion intrusion alarms, and check your countdown and sensor alert settings.
