Vanemar at NMEA Conference & Expo 2026: Smart Boat Monitoring Innovations

NMEA Conference & Expo 2026 was another memorable event for Vanemar, bringing together marine electronics professionals, manufacturers, installers, and industry partners to explore the latest technologies shaping the future of boating.

At Booth #403, we showcased our smart boat monitoring and remote management solutions, demonstrated new product developments, and connected with professionals from across the marine industry. The event was a valuable opportunity to strengthen existing relationships, build new connections, and share our vision for safer, smarter, and more connected boating.

Connecting with the Marine Electronics Industry

NMEA Conference & Expo provides an important opportunity to exchange ideas, discover emerging technologies, and build relationships across the marine electronics industry.

This year, we were pleased to reconnect with professionals we first met at previous NMEA events while also meeting new industry contacts. Conversations throughout the show covered potential partnerships, marine technology integration, and the growing demand for remote vessel monitoring solutions.

These connections continue to support Vanemar's efforts to expand its presence in the marine market and make smart boat monitoring more accessible to boat owners.

Introducing New Developments in Smart Boat Monitoring

One of the highlights of NMEA 2026 was showcasing how Vanemar's smart boat monitoring ecosystem has continued to evolve since last year's event.

Wireless Bilge Pump Sensors

Our wireless bilge pump sensors were a key addition to this year's showcase. These sensors were not featured at our 2025 NMEA booth, making them an important part of our latest product developments.

Bilge pump monitoring helps boat owners stay informed about pump activity and changing conditions onboard. By bringing this information into the Vanemar monitoring ecosystem, we aim to help owners improve vessel awareness and respond more quickly to important alerts.

Wireless Camera Technology

We also highlighted our wireless camera technology, which had been demonstrated at NMEA 2025 but had not yet been commercially launched at that time.

The camera is now approaching its planned market launch within the next few months. It is designed to complement Vanemar's remote monitoring capabilities by giving boat owners another way to check on their vessels when they are away.

Combined with wireless sensors and app-based alerts, camera technology adds another layer to remote vessel awareness and security.

Live Demonstration of Marine Electronics Integration and Digital Switching

At Booth #403, visitors could experience a live demonstration showcasing Vanemar's monitoring capabilities alongside marine electronics equipment.

The demonstration featured our bilge pump sensors, Raymarine and Garmin equipment, a Lowrance EmpirBus unit, and digital switching capabilities.

This hands-on setup gave visitors an opportunity to see our technology in action and explore how connected monitoring can work alongside other onboard systems. It also created opportunities to discuss marine electronics integration and the potential for a more connected boating experience.

Through the Vanemar mobile app, boat owners can access monitoring information, receive real-time alerts, and stay connected to their vessels from virtually anywhere.

Our extensive wireless sensor ecosystem supports monitoring of different onboard conditions, helping owners maintain greater awareness of their boats even when they are not physically onboard.

Vanemar Products Nominated for NMEA 2026 Awards

Another exciting highlight was seeing Vanemar products featured among the nominees for two NMEA 2026 awards. These nominations recognize our continued work in smart boat monitoring, remote vessel management, and wireless marine technology.

Product of Excellence – Remote Vessel Monitoring

Vanemar's Smart Boat Monitoring & Control System was listed among the nominees in the Remote Vessel Monitoring category for the 2026 Product of Excellence award.

Technology Award

Our Wireless Monitoring & Control solution was also listed among the nominees for the 2026 NMEA Technology Award.

Being nominated in both categories is an important milestone for Vanemar and a meaningful recognition of the technology we are developing to help boat owners stay connected to their vessels.

We are proud to see our solutions included among the nominated products and remain committed to advancing smart boat monitoring and connected marine technology.

Vanemar CEO Mevlut Sahin Presents on Remote Vessel Monitoring

Another highlight of the event was the “Remote Vessel Monitoring Options” session, led by Vanemar CEO Mevlut Sahin.

During the presentation, Mevlut introduced Vanemar's approach to smart boat monitoring and explained how wireless sensors, the Vanemar mobile app, and camera technology work together to support remote vessel management.

The session explored the value of connected monitoring solutions for improving onboard awareness, receiving real-time alerts, and helping boat owners stay informed about their vessels from anywhere.

It was a valuable opportunity to share our technology with marine industry professionals and discuss the growing role of remote monitoring in modern boating.

Representing Türkiye in NMEA's International Ambassador Program

We were also proud to celebrate an important milestone for our team. Yuce Mert Koseoglu, Vanemar's Business Development Director, was selected to represent Türkiye in NMEA's International Ambassador Program.

The program helps strengthen connections between NMEA and marine electronics professionals around the world. Mert's selection provides an opportunity to support international collaboration, encourage knowledge-sharing, and build closer relationships within the global marine electronics community.

We are proud to see Vanemar represented in this international initiative and look forward to the opportunities it creates for continued engagement with the industry.

Networking, Community, and the Cornhole Tournament

Beyond product demonstrations and business discussions, NMEA is also an opportunity to spend time with the people who make the marine electronics community so valuable.

We had a great time participating in the cornhole tournament, enjoying some friendly competition, and connecting with fellow industry professionals in a more relaxed setting.

These experiences made the event even more memorable and reinforced the importance of strong relationships and collaboration across the marine industry.

Thank You, NMEA!

A big thank you to the entire NMEA team and all the sponsors who helped make this year's event possible. Special thanks to Mark Reedenauer for his support and for helping foster such a welcoming and engaged marine electronics community.

We also want to thank everyone who visited us at Booth #403, joined our presentation, experienced our live demonstration, shared their insights, and took the time to connect with our team.

NMEA Conference & Expo 2026 was a valuable opportunity to showcase our latest developments, strengthen industry relationships, and explore new opportunities for collaboration.

At Vanemar, we remain committed to advancing smart boat monitoring and remote vessel management, helping boat owners stay informed, connected, and confident wherever their journeys take them.

Until next time!
